Netty, you're going to think I'm silly, but I live in Wisconsin and hadn't had a pair of boots for almost ten years until last winter when I found a pair on sale. I just don't do well with boots, either. I'm either getting holes in them or the lining comes out or they just plain bug me. We had a pair of waders for going in the pond and even they sprung a leak...not fun when the water's cold and your boot is starting to fill up! I hope you have good luck with your new ones!
